On January 23, 2025, a “BIO-TAC” innovation workshop was held in Prijedor. The event was organized in two segments: a conference with lectures held at the premises of the Development Agency “PREDA,” followed by a practical workshop session in the Jović greenhouses in Prijedor.
As in Zagreb, one of the main organizers of the workshop in Prijedor was the agricultural cooperative “Agronova” from Novi Grad, one of the three project partners. The conference segment included expert lectures in the fields of agroeconomics, innovation, EU projects, bioeconomy, and the Living Lab approach, with a strong emphasis on the importance of cooperation between producers, innovators, and institutions. The practical part continued in the Jović family greenhouses, where the BIO-TAC autonomous tool carrier was demonstrated. Using the example of onion cultivation, numerous producers and representatives of sectoral organizations were shown how the equipment operates in practice.
